The Golden Eagles extended their lead with a three-point run highlighted by two service aces from Joonatan Salpakari, eventually pushing the margin to 19-11. North Greenville responded with a four-point run fueled by Charleston errors to cut the deficit to 20-15 and later trimmed the lead to 23-21 after another late surge. Set two flipped the script early as North Greenville controlled the pace, taking a 10-6 lead and stretching it to 14-7. Following a timeout from head coach Robert Pool, Charleston began to regain momentum with key kills. The Trailblazers still held a 24-21 set point advantage before the Golden Eagles mounted a dramatic comeback. A North Greenville service error made it 24-22, and Conrad Spidso took over from the service line, recording three consecutive aces. Combined with a Trailblazer attack error, Charleston completed the comeback to steal the set 26-24 and take full control of the match.
In the third set, Charleston returned to form with an early 10-6 lead. North Greenville answered with a five-point run to close within one at 13-12, but the Golden Eagles responded immediately with a five-point run of their own, fueled in part by kills from Dimitris Manikas. Charleston extended its lead to 20-15 and maintained control down the stretch.
