2010 (Junior): Saw action in 12 matches while starting in each one. Played as a central defender helping post nine shutouts on the year. Battled injuries which limited playing time towards the end of the season.
2009 (Sophomore): Started in all 23 matches for the Golden Eagles as a center fullback. Scored the game winner against Davis & Elkins College in the WVIAC Championship (11/7). Emerson helped contribute to the Charleston defense which ranked No. 8 in the nation for shutout percentage (13).
2008 (Freshman): Played in fifteen games during his freshman campaign. Anchored the Golden Eagle defense to four wins and two ties.
Before Charleston: Regional team 2003, Played Internationally with his club team Bryst in England and Germany, as well as Nunavut and Hawaii, Athlete of the Month 2004, Tournament MVP 2004, Captain of Ontario team at the Nunavut tournament, SAAC Champions 2006, SAAC Runners-Up 2007, First team All-Star 2006, High school captain 2004,2006-2008, high school season MVP 2004, 2006-2008, Outstanding Contribution to Athletics 2007, Personal Excellence 2007, Assistant coach of girls varsity high school 2007, Winner of many tournaments and league play.
