Summary

Biography

2010 (Junior): Saw action in 20 matches will starting 18. Collected two goals and one assist for a total of 5 points on the year. Spent most of the season as a left back but also played as a left midfielder. Helped the Golden Eagles with 9 shutouts on the season.

2009 (Sophomore): Started in all 23 matches including one goal against Salem International University (10/11). Added four assists for the Golden Eagles from the left fullback position. Received First Team All-WVIAC honors. McCarty helped contribute to the Charleston defense which ranked #8 in the nation for shutout percentage (13).

2008 (Freshman): Saw action in 14 matches including 11 starts. Recorded three shots while splitting time between left fullback and left midfielder. 

Before Charleston: McCarty was named Athlete of the Year FAVC in 2008. A First Team All-Conference selection in 2007-2008, Kyle also receiving All-City and All-State Honorable Mention honors. He was also a member of the Ohio State ODP team from 2002-2007.
