Biography

2019-20 –SOPHOMORE at UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO 
  • Finished the season 10-6 in Single Draw Matches and 8-11 in Double Draw Matches.
  • Advanced to the championship round of his draw in the University of Arizona Fall Invitational by defeating Jared Horwood of Arizona 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (13) in his first duel, and taking down Luis Flores of New Mexico State 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in the second round. Giesberts was defeated by Conner Olsen of Arizona in the championship round.
  • Finished 2-1 in double draws in the Gonzaga Invitational alongside teammate Kyle Peasel 
  • Defeated Montana State in both his single and double draw before the remainder of the season was concluded due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • Transferred to Charleston after UNC discontinued both their men's and women's tennis programs. 
2018-19 - FRESHMAN at HOLY NAMES
  • Finished the season 4-9 in single draw while going 5-8 in doubles. 
  • Picked up first collegiate win on 2/24 against UC Santa Cruz in the #3 single draw, defeating Kris Harris, 6-1, 7-6 (7-2)
  • Won three of his last four double bouts with partner Valentin Baranyi to finish the season.
