University of Charleston Athletics

Connor McTeer is entering his first year with the Charleston Golden Eagles where he will primarily works with the catchers and take over the role of Camp Coordinator as well as assisting with recruiting and hitting. McTeer comes to Charleston after spending time as a Law Enforcement Deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Prior to McTeer’s time with the Sheriff’s Office, he worked as a student game day operations supervisor at Berry College. While being a vital role in the operations for the Vikings, McTeer also assisted with other tasks within the athletic department. 

The Tampa, Florida native began his career at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennesse before transferring to Berry College in Rome, Georgia. McTeer graduated from Berry College in 2022 with his undergraduate degree in Sport Management and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Charleston.
