University of Charleston Athletics

Bowden enters his second year on staff at the University of Charleston.

Prior to joining the coaching staff at UCWV, Bowden pitched collegiately at Grove City College in 2018. After an elbow injury cut his playing career short, Bowden served as a private pitching instructor and the Director of Baseball Camps at the St. James, a private training facility in Northern Virginia. In addition, Bowden has previous coaching experience with Arlington Travel Baseball & the Virginia Baseball Club. 

In his role, Bowden’s primary responsibility is to assist the program with player evaluation and recruiting. Additionally, he will coordinate team travel, equipment, and facilities management.
