University of Charleston Athletics

Beth Woerner enters her second year on staff at the University of Charleston. 

Prior to joining the coaching staff at UCWV, Woerner worked in Research & Development at Baseball Prospectus. She assisted with research related to player development technology and women’s/international baseball. In her role, Woerner’s primary responsibility is to assist the program with it’s use of technology and analytics.

Additionally, she serves as the academic liaison & coordinates community service initiatives. 

Woerner graduated with a degree in Archaeology & Anthropology from James Madison University in 2014. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from UCWV. Woerner is K-Vest Level 1 & Driveline Pitch Design Certified.
