Trey Mills

Trey Mills

Mills enters his second year with the University of Charleston baseball team. He will serve as the Development Coach for the 20223 season. Mills will be tasked with being the outfield coach and will assist with the hitting. In 2022 Mills helped the Golden Eagles achieve a MEC South Division Title, MEC Conference Tournament Title, 40+ win season, and reach a NCAA Regional final. Last season Mills served as the Defensive Cordinator as well as the catching.

In 2021 Mills helped assist the Raceland-Worthington High School (KY) baseball team, where they won their first 16th Regional Championship in 30 years, outscoring opponents 39-1 in that tournament.

A 2017 graduate from Raceland-Worthington High School, Mills went on to play at Kentucky Christian University (Grayson, KY) where he played for the Knights in numerous roles for four years. Mills currently ranks 1st in school history in games played and 1st in OBP. Mills comes from South Shore, KY and comes from a family of educators and coaches. Trey is the son of Marty and Shannon Mills, and has one sibling Seth Mills.
