2009 (Sophomore): Started and appeared in 22 out of 23 matches for the Golden Eagles. Earned First team All-WVIAC, First Team NSCAA All-Atlantic Region, and Third Team NSCAA/Mondo All-American honors. Peters also received the WVIAC Player of the Year award. Dion recorded 18 goals and 5 assists for a total of 41 points including five game winners. Finished 22^nd in the country for goals per game and points per game. Finished tied for #1 in the country for single game highs in goals per game (Bluefield – 5) and points per game (Bluefield – 10). Earned WVIAC Player of the Week on 8/31.

2008 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 matches starting 9. Led the team in goals (7) and assists (6) for a total of 20 points while receiving First Team All-WVIAC honors.    Also earned WVIAC Player of the Week on 10/27.

Before Charleston: Attended El Dorado Secondary Comprehensive. Spent time with the U20 Trinidad & Tobago National Team.

Personal: The son of Richard and Janet Peters… born March 13^th 1987… has one brother Sylbert and two sisters Nicole and Rashida and is currently majoring in Sport Administration.
