Wrather is returning for his second year as the assistant coach for men’s volleyball.
Prior to coaching at UC, Wrather played volleyball at Ball State for 5 years. He graduated with a degree in Sports Administration.
While he played for Ball State, Wrather also coached at Burris Laboratory High School.
Following his collegiate career, Wrather went on to become the head coach for the Vortex Volleyball Club’s 18-year-old team. He coached there for four years while also coaching the Munciana Volleyball club during Vortex’s offseason. He spent five years with Munciana.
Wrather then landed at the University of Charleston as the assistant men’s volleyball coach. He is entering his second year as the assistant coach, while he pursues his Master of Science in Strategic Leadership.
