Avery Moore was named the Assistant Coach for the University of Charleston Women’s Volleyball team in the Spring of 2023, she is currently pursuing her Masters in Strategic Leadership.  

Coach Moore was a highly successful volleyball player at NCAA Division II Lubbock Christian University. Moore competed in one of the top conferences in the nation, the Lone Star Conference where she received multiple conference awards and all-tournament team honors in her time at Lubbock Christian University. In 2018, in 28 matches played, Moore produced 228 kills (2.33) per set and 54 blocks. As the October 16th Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Week, Moore had a strong close to the regular season games producing at least 12 kills in 5 of the 9 regular season games. Moore was named the only right side named to the All-Conference First-Team. In 2019 Moore was honored with being named the Lone Star Conference All Second-Team. Avery Graduated Lubbock Christian University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication with an emphasis in General Business.  

In her early years as an athlete, the Amarillo, Texas native played for Texas Advantage Volleyball (TAV) the top named club in the state of Texas, where her team made three national appearances. Moore also played for the highly completive Randall High School, where she led her team to two state tournament appearances.  

In her time away from the volleyball court, Avery cherishes her time with her dog King.
