Julia Abramo graduated from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, with a bachelor's in mass communication while being a SAAC representative. During her volleyball career, she played for Otero College and UTRGV.

Julia is currently in her second year of the graduate program, receiving her MBA in Business Analytics. 

A native from São Paulo, Brazil. Daughter of Ivana Gonçalves and Jair Avelino Rocha.
