Charleston, W.Va. - The No. 23 ranked University of Charleston men's soccer team scored three goals in each half and cruised to a 6-0 win over Alderson-Broaddus Wednesday at Schoenbaum Stadium.

Eddie Mangan led the Golden Eagles with two goals while Harry Machacha, Craig Cantor, Michael Osuji and Marshall Ngobidi had one each. Sean Teepen and Koty Chandler combined for four saves for UC.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, October 23 for a key match against conference championship contender Shepherd at noon. The game being played at Schoenbaum Stadium has serious playoff implications for each team as UC looks to stay on top of the WVIAC standings, while Shepherd is coming off a recent win against former conference leader WV Wesleyan.
