CHARLESTON, W.Va. - West Virginia Wesleyan remained unbeaten versus Division II squads and raised their record to 20-2 with a 5-0 victory over Charleston in the WVIAC Men's Tennis Tournament championship match.
In the WVIAC conference finals, West Virginia Wesleyan controlled the match after picking up victories in the first two doubles positions. Charleston fought hard and had a match point, but could not win the third doubles position. Falling behind 3-0 after doubles proved to be too much of a deficit for Charleston to mount a comeback. The Golden Eagles played hard, yet could not match the depth of he Bobcats losing the match 5-0.
