BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston men’s tennis team fell to top seed West Virginia Wesleyan in the first round of the NCAA tournament, Thursday afternoon. Charleston grabbed its only point of the match with a 9-7 win in No. 3 doubles. Reid McEwen and Kris Riede narrowly missed pulling out another victory in the No. 2 doubles position as they dropped a hotly contested game 9-7. The Bobcats took three-straight singles games to secure the victory.
