Men's Tennis Grabs Win Over West Liberty

HILTON HEAD, SC - The University of Charleston men's tennis team grabbed its seventh-straight victory in a 6-3 win over WVIAC opponent West Liberty.

After a shaky start in doubles, the men found themselves down 2-1 entering singles competition.    The Golden Eagles stormed back in singles taking 5-of-6 matches.  

Freshman Matt Sherba (Oxford, OH) was the man of the match gaining wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles.  Junior, Perry Campbell (Charleston, WV) came in as a sub for the injured Rico Williams and recorded a 6-2, 6-2 decisive score in his debut conference match.
