HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Charleston men's tennis squad put another notch in the win column with a decisive 8-1 decision against Edinboro for the Golden Eagles fifth-straight victory, Monday afternoon in Hilton Head, S.C.
UC (5-2) was paced by
Matthew Sherba (Oxford, OH) who took a clean sweep in the No. 1 singles position 6-0, 6-0. Charleston won all three doubles matches, while
Dennis Okoth (Nairobi, Kenya),
Richard Williams (Cincinnati, OH),
Eric Bodge (Washington, WV) and
Nicholas Bakos (Potomac, MD) each booked singles wins.
The Golden Eagles continue their southern swing with an 8:00 am contest against regional contender Bloomsburg.
