Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. - University of Charleston dominated the volleyball court Friday evening in a 3-0 win over Concord University at Eddie King Gymnasium.
Charleston took the three straight sets in convincing fashion winning 25-10, 25-11, 25-13 while improving their record to 14-8 overall and a game over .500 in the MEC at 5-4.
The Mountain Lions seemed out of sorts all evening and the stats proved that in committing 24 attack errors while only totalling 18 kills in the three sets. Charleston on the other hand was very efficient in their attacks, accounting for only nine errors in their 91 attempts and converted on 35 kills.
Charleston was paced by Katharine Furlong and Victoria Severo at the net, totalling 15 kills between them while Melissa Reyes and Brenna Barker fed the assists, 27 to be exact.
The Golden Eagles return to action tomorrow as they take on the Cavaliers from UVa. Wise in another MEC matchup. Game time is set for 4pm in the Eddie King Gym.
