Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Charleston, WV - The University of Charleston picked up two wins over the Hilltoppers Wednsday as Vazquez would deliver walk-off RBI's in each game.

GAME ONE

Charleston would strike first against the visiting Hilltoppers in the second inning when Hailey Tretickwould pick up an RBI single knocking in Andrea Hayes after reaching on a walk and stealing second.  Katelyn Hamilton would follow Tretick with a hit of her own, putting two on for Ayla Santos who delivered a two-RBI single, making it 3-0 after two.  West Liberty would fight their way back to tie the game scoring one in the fifth and two in the seventh, taking advantage of a tiring Fain.

Tied going into the bottom half of the inning,  Hamilton would lead off with a single and advance to second after a Santos sacrifice bunt.  Janeen Vazquezstepped to the plate looking to be the hero for Charleston and that is exactly what she did, doubling over the left fielder that drove in the winning run for UC in the 4-3 win.

Courtney Fain would pitch the complete game for Charelston, picking up her 7th win on the season.

GAME TWO

Much like game one, West Liberty would fight back to tie the game once again plating a run in the fourth inning to even the game at two.  This set the stage for Vazquez's heroics to take place for the Golden Eagles. Fast forward to bottom of the seventh with the game tied at 2-2, the Hilltoppers would retire the first two UC hitters before Santos would reach base after being hit.  Allison Evans would enter to run for Santos and once again Vazquez would step up in the occasion.  This time smashing a shot ofverthe center fielder that scored Evans from first on the game winning triple, 3-2 Charleston.

Morgan Aguirre would throw all seven in the complete game win, taking her win total to eight for 2013.

Charleston goes to 15-16 overall on the season and 6-4 in WVIAC play.  UC will host two WVIAC opponents Saturday and Sunday, first taking on D&E then WVWC on Sunday.
