Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Athens, WV - UC would waste a 6-0 lead in game one to fall to Concord 7-6, but would rebound in game two to pick up a WVIAC win on the road over the Mt. Lions 7-3.

Game One

Charleston (12-17, 9-9 WVIAC) would score five runs in the first inning of game one and one more in the third to lead the Mountain Lions  6-0 through two and a half innings. However, Concord fought back with three runs in the bottom of the third, on run in the fourth and three final scores in the fifth for the come-from-behind victory over the Golden Eagles.

Game Two

Already trailing 2-1, Charleston scored five runs in the sixth inning en route to the victory. The Mountain Lions scored two runs in the seventh inning, but another comeback triumph was not in the cards as the Golden Eagles would hold on to 7-3 win.

Tyler Shreve would pick up his third consecutive win, pitching six innings while giving up only one run to the Mountain Lions.  Ryan Foster would provide the offense for Charleston in game two going 3-for-3, smashing his 4th HR of the season. and knocking in four RBI's. 

The Golden Eagles will go for the series victory over Concord 1:00 p.m. Sunday in a nine-inning game.
