Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The University of Charleston Women's Volleyball Team lost a hard fought match against West Virginia State University Tuesday night.  With the loss UC goes to 2-3 in the Mountain East Conference and 3-11 overall. 
 
The electric energy filled match went four sets, with UC fighting hard but coming up short against State in the first two sets 22-25. In the third set, the Golden Eagles came out blazing and won the set 25-11.  The back and forth fourth set looked promising, however, WVSU took the 25-23 fourth set and a 3-1 victory.
 
Clairissa Larry (University Heights, OH) led UC's offense with 18 kills, followed by Randi Estrada (Keaau, HI) with 11 kills. Sydney Davis led the Yellow Jackets with 10 kills.
 
UC will travel to Urbana this Friday to play at 7 p.m.
