INSTITUTE, W.Va. - The University of Charleston Women's Volleyball team swept West Virginia State University last night in a 3-0 sweep at WVSU's home gym.  The Golden Eagles came ready to play, taking the Yellow Jackets 25-15, 25-14, and 25-19.

The overall performance by UC was impressive, with four players hitting over a .500 hitting percentage.  Clairissa Larry (University Heights, OH) led with 11 kills and two blocks, and Payton Logan (Brentwood, TN) was right behind her with 10 kills, two aces and four blocks.  Samantha Scripter (Knoxville, TN) earned 20 digs throughout the night.
          
The Yellow Jackets were led by Hayley Kirby and Rebekah Baldwin, both with ten kills.
           
The Golden Eagles will be taking on UVA-Wise this Friday night in the Eddie King Gym at 7 p.m.
