Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Courtney Fain scattered two hits over four innings allowing just one earned run for her 10^th win of the season as the Golden Eagles defeated Notre Dame College, 4-1 in Game 1.  Morgan Aguirre picked up her second save with three scoreless innings of relief.  Kendal LeFrancois connected on a two-run homerun that broke a 1-1 tie in the third inning. UC added a run in the sixth on Kelly Browning sacrifice fly that plated LeFrancois who had doubled. 

Game two saw UC take a 3-2 lead into the sixth when Kelsey Coleman connected for her second homerun of the day and made the game 4-3 NDC.  LeFrancois answered with a towering shot to tie the game at 4 in the bottom of the inning.  Alex McKinley hit a two out single to right field that scored Christine Camp.  Morgan Aguirre took the loss in relief.  Abby Nicholas pitched 4 and two-thirds scattering six hits and one earned run.  Samantha Herndon and Hailey Tretick drove in three of UC's runs on back-to-back hits in the third.

Charleston is back in action tomorrow as the host Urbana University with first pitch slated for 1P.M.
