Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Morgan Aguirre and Courtney Fain kept hitter's in check all night as Charleston swept a double-header last night from West Virginia State University, 7-3 and 7-1.  UC's Jam the Stands night created a great atmosphere as the Golden Eagles controlled the game from first pitch to the last out. 

Offensive production came from top to bottom over the night as UC had five consecutive two-out rbi base hits in game two which led to six runs for the Golden Eagles.  Samantha Herndon hit her seventh homerun on the night as UC also stole seven bases on the Yellow Jackets.

In game two with two outs and runners on first and third, Herndon singled, Rachelle Toppings singled, Hailey Tretick singled, Kendal LeFrancois singled, and Andrea Hayes singled all driving in runs for the Golden Eagles.  Jenna Evans had led off the inning with a double and Ayla Santos singled up with the middle with one out to get things rolling.

UC is back in action today in Wheeling, W.Va. as they make-up a rainout MEC double-header against Wheeling Jesuit with first pitch set for 3PM.
