Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHARLETON, W.Va. – Courtney Fain scattered six hits over seven innings and the University of Charleston's use of a four run sixth gave Charleston the 5-0 victory over the University of Virginia at Wise Saturday in game two.  Andrea Hayes and Katelyn Hamilton each had two hits and a run scored for the Golden Eagles.

Game one took more than two and half hours to complete as UC defeated UVA-Wise when Andrea Hayes scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the tenth inning. Fain again was a dandy getting the start going six innings, scattering six hits, while striking out five. Fain, who left in the seventh after the first two batters reached base was relieved by Morgan Aguirre.  Mindy Combs's one out three-run homerun in the seventh put Wise on top.  However, Andrea Hayes infield single allowed Jenna Evans to score and tie the game at seven.  Hayes, who was placed at second due to the international tie-breaker advanced and scored to give Charleston the victory.

UC moves to 31-17 on the season,15-11 in Mountain East Conference play.  Charleston will finish up its regular season tomorrow against Concord University and Senior Day with first pitch set for 1PM.
