Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The UC Women's Volleyball team defeated Glenville State Tuesday night in three sets at the Eddie King Gym.  This is the first Mountain East Conference win for the Golden Eagles, putting them at 1-2 in the conference.

The Charleston dominated the match with impressive serving and aggressive offense. Clairissa Larry (University Heights, OH) led the team, earning 17 kills over three sets.  Audrey Baysinger (Camby, IN) and Payton Logan (Brentwood, TN) both demonstrated outstanding hitting percentages and went on serving runs putting the Eagles in the lead by ten points.  Elle Martin (Las Cruces, NM) led the team on defense, with 12 digs.  The team as a whole made 52 digs for the match.

Glenville fought hard but came up short with a total of seven kills and 29 digs.  Jazmin Gordon led their defense with 10 kills, and Stefanie Gladders led the offense with three kills. 
 
UC is back in action this Friday at 7 pm in the Eddie King Gym.  They will be taking on the WV Wesleyan Bobcats.
