Men's Golf Selected to NCAA Regional

INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships. The regional competitions will be conducted May 4-6.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 18-22, at Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, North Carolina. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's medal-match portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University.

There will be four regional sites in which two regions will meet and conduct regional tournaments. The regional tournaments will be paired as follows:
Atlantic and East
Central and Midwest
South and Southeast
South Central and West

At the 2014 championship, Barry University defeated Nova Southeastern University in medal-match play to claim their second consecutive men's golf national championship and third in school history.  Tim Crouch, Florida Southern College, finished with a 54-hole total of 213 and claimed his second consecutive individual title. The championships were hosted at The Meadows at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan.
