NASHPORT, Ohio – Taking the tee and winning the D2 Atlantic/East Regional Preview was the University of Charleston Men's Golf team shooting a round of 301.  The seven-stroke victory led the charge of 10 teams all vying for a chance at a Regional crown later this Spring.  In second place with a 308 was Mercyhurst University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania finished in third with a round of 309.

Cal-PA's Atle Ruden was the individual medalists firing a two-under round of 70.  Charleston's Viktor Pustwo and Thibaut Carmignano tied for second after shooting rounds of 71.  All four scoring marks for UC finished in the top-25 of individual performances. 

Charleston will be back on the course in the Mountain East Conference Championship at Glade Springs, W.Va. on April 12^th.
