CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston men's tennis team suffered their second consecutive loss to start the 2016 campaign, falling 6-3 to the visiting Bears from University of Pikeville Saturday night at the Charleston Tennis Club.

Charleston fell behind 2-1 after three doubles matches finished, picking up a win at the 3
rd doubles from the team of Jake Lorenz and Jamie Gibson. It was high caliber tennis on all six singles courts but Charleston was only able to pick up two wins, coming up short on earning their first win. Alec Foote and James Gammell earned victories at No. 1 & 2 singles, Gammell a thriller going to a super tiebreak to decide the third set.

UC returns to the court Sunday afternoon at the Charleston Tennis Club against University of Findlay. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m.
