CHARLESTON, W.Va. – It wasn't pretty but the Golden Eagles survived a scare from the Urbana Blue Knights Tuesday evening at the Charleston Catholic Athletic Complex, defeating the visitors 76-66.

UC was led by Justin Coleman's double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  Tino diTrapano added 16 points and seven rebounds in the win.  Urbana's Carlas Jackson led all scorers with 31 points, including seven makes from behind the three-point line.

UC began to find some offensive rhythm and tied the game at 44-44 as the pace of the game picked up resulting in easy looks around the rim for the Golden Eagles.  Charleston responded with a 7-2 run to put UC up five, 51-46, at the second media timeout.

Urbana again responded with some hot shooting from Carlas Jackson, narrowing the gap to a single point, 53-52.  It was UC that had the answer this time, extending their lead to five, 59-54, at the final media break.  The Golden Eagles were able to keep Urbana out of reach by knocking down free throws over the final four plus minutes to earn a
