CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagle men's tennis team picked up two victories over the past two days, defeating Bluefield College 5-4 on the road Friday before returning home Saturday to claim a 9-0 victory over UVa.-Wise at the Charleston Tennis Club.
 
Charleston's two victories put them over .500 for the season, now sitting at 6-5 overall and a perfect 2-0 in Mountain East Conference play.  UC has yet to drop a match against MEC opponents, defeating Shepherd 9-0 earlier in the season.
 
James Gammell and Ivan Rajevac were undefeated in both singles and doubles over the two-match period for the Golden Eagles, who are currently ranked seventh in the ITA Atlantic Region standings.  Charleston returns to the court Monday as they travel to Elkins, W.Va. to take on the Senators from Davis & Elkins.
