In the Golden Eagle 1
st, UC's bats exploded for four runs on five hits while drawing a walk. The lead would be short lived as the Falcons would answer with seven runs on five hits, three HBP and one UC error.

Junior RHP Andy Hoyer was charged with the loss to move to 3-2 on the year. Sophomore Kaleb Kinder threw 1 2/3 innings in relief.

Freshman OF Jeff Somuk and sophomore C Steven Davis each collected 2 hits while freshman OF Brice Arrington drove in two runs.

Junior LHP Adam Jafine moved to 1-2 on the season after throwing 5 2/3 innings scattering four hits and striking out four while walking four. Junior RHP Luke Yingling threw 3 1/3 innings of strong relief striking out four while walking only one Falcon.

UC exploded for five runs in the 6
th to put the game out of reach. Offensively, the Golden Eagles were paced by seniors Anthony Brunetti, Tyler Ocker and redshirt sophomore Justin Mixon with two hits a piece.

UC squares off today against the Shepherd Rams at 1:00 p.m. in Shepherdstown.
