CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston men's tennis team's bid for a Mountain East Conference postseason championship came to an end Saturday afternoon, falling 5-2 to West Liberty in the MEC semifinals.

The loss takes Charleston to 13-9 overall heading into Tuesday's NCAA DII Men's Tennis Selection Show where the Golden Eagles have an outside shot of making the national tournament. UC came into the MEC Championship ranked 7
th in the ITA Division II Atlantic Region rankings.
