CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Golden Eagle men's tennis team easily dismantled their Kanawha Valley Mountain East Conference counterpart West Virginia State University by a 9-0 score at Schoenbaum Tennis Courts. The clean sweep of the Yellow Jackets stopped a two-match losing streak by the Golden Eagles.
UC was able to insert some new players in the lineup as both Jacob Adkins and Faron Williamson saw action in doubles and singles in the win. Â Charleston failed to drop a set to the visiting Jackets, improving their unbeaten MEC record to 4-0.
