Daniels, W.Va. - The University of Charleston Men's Golf team kicked off the Glade Springs Intercollegiate with an impressive start, scoring 301 to finish day one in first place. The Golden Eagles eventually fell to fifth after two more rounds, shooting a combined score of 934 and sacrificing the lead to West Liberty University (922). West Chester University finished in second with 925 points and Mercyhurst University placed third with 928.
Notable performances for the Golden Eagles included 
Brett Harvey (Markham, Ontario), who finished in third individually +9 with 225 points and 
Justin Westveer (Charlotte, N.C.), who placed fifth +11 with 227 points.
Millersville University's Connor Sheehan took home the individual trophy with a score of 222 points (+6).
