CHARLESTON, W.Va. – University of Charleston women's volleyball made their 2016 season home debut Friday evening at the Charleston Catholic HS Athletic Complex against Concord University and won in straight sets for their third consecutive victory.
The win gives the Golden Eagles a good start to their MEC slate as they head into the bulk of their conference schedule the remainder of the season.
Carly Granger continued her strong play of late totaling 10 kills to lead the Golden Eagles while
Claire Lambert assisted on 27 putaways for Charleston. UC was very efficient on the attack, hitting at a .269 clip for the match.
The Golden Eagles return to the court tomorrow, hosting University of Virginia College at Wise and Ohio Valley University in a tri-match starting at 1:00 p.m. at the CCHS Athletic Complex.
