CHARLESTON, W.Va. – UC women's volleyball celebrated Homecoming with a straight set victory over West Virginia Wesleyan College at the Innovation Center on Saturday evening, running their win streak to six matches.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles, who have yet to drop a set in MEC play this season, jumped out to a 1-0 set lead over the Bobcats behind the strong play of
Tori Clark and
Janeese VerVelde who both had four kills in the opening set to give Charleston the early lead. The duo would go on to finish the match with double digit kills, Clark with 11 and VerVelde 10.
Clark, a junior outside hitter from Lakeland, Fla., paced the UC attack again in the second set with the Golden Eagles posting their best hitting percentage in the match at .279. Clark would have six of her 11 kills in the set as Charleston built a 2-0 lead. Using the energy from the raucous UC Homecoming crowd, the Golden Eagles rolled to a 25-15 win in the third to close out the match and send the Bobcats back to Buckhannon with a loss.
UC's set streak without dropping one is now at 17 and are a perfect 5-0 in Mountain East play.
