CHARLESTON, WV. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles (8-3, 4-2 MEC) defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Falcons (3-7, 1-5 MEC) 103-76. Kier Anderson's 24 points led the Golden Eagles to their second straight MEC victory to improve to 8-3 on the season.

How It Happened
-The Golden Eagles came out swinging to take a 24-7 lead midway through the first half. Charleston maintained their lead to head into the second half with a 22-point advantage (50-28).
-Charleston ran away with the game in the second half, winning by as many as 27 points. With 27 seconds to play Anton Ivey slammed one home to give the Golden Eagles the 103-76 victory.

-Kier Anderson led Charleston with 24 points.
-Lamont McManus tallied 19 in the win, while Jordan Smith and Shaq Speights each tabbed 14 .
