CHARLESTON, WV. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles (8-4, 4-2 MEC) fell on the road to the Edinboro Fighting Scotts (7-2) 93-73. Kier Anderson and Jordan Smith led the Golden Eagles with 15 points each.

How It Happened
-The Fighting Scotts jumped out to an early lead, with a 12-point advantage eight minutes into the first half, and would never trail from that point. 
-A jumper by Maceo Baston gave the Scotts an 18-point lead into the break. 
-Coming out of the break, Edinboro built themselves a 24-point advantage nearly midway through the second half, and would go on to down the Golden Eagles 93-73. 

Charleston Individual Leaders
-Kier Anderson and Jordan Smith each tallied 15 points to lead the Golden Eagles. 
-Shaq Speights notched 14 points in the loss. 

Notre Dame Individual Leaders
-Keshawn Liggins led the Fighting Scotts with 38 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. 

A Deeper Look
-Edinboro capitalized on UC errors, scoring 15 points off turnovers.
