UC women's lacrosse opened their 2017 campaign at the University of Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon, falling big to the Greyhounds by a 17-1 score.

Game Leaders
-Rachel Cokeley made 5 saves in her debut in the net for the Golden Eagles.
-Freshman attacker Megan Sheesley registered the lone tally for UC, scoring her first career goal as a Golden Eagle.  Aryanna Jones assisted on the goal
-UINDY's Anna Rulapaugh was the stat leader on the afternoon, scoring 5 goals and assisting on 5 others.
-Clare Difato picked up the decision at goal keeper for the Greyhounds, her first of 2017.

How it Happened
-UINDY's Kailee King got the scoring started for the Greyhounds before Rulapaugh tallied the next three scores to take a 4-0 in the first 11 minutes of the half.
-Charleston would trail 9-0 going into the break, coming up empty on the 8 first half shot attempts.
-The Greyhounds' Grace Gunneson opened the second half with a pair of goals before Charleston's Sheesley got UC on the board to trail 11-1 with 15:45 left to play.
-UINDY scored the last six goals of the game to hand UC the opening day loss, 17-1.
