CHARLESTON, W.Va.-- The University of Charleston Women's Lacrosse (0-3, 0-0 MEC) team fell 17-7 to Indiana Tech (2-0, 0-0 W-HAC) on the road in Williamsburg, Ky.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Indiana Tech jumped out in front first as Sam Vikstrom scored the first goal of the game at 29:12, but Aryanna Jones answered at 26:49 to put UC on the board (1-1).
- Before the clock reached 20 minutes the Warriors tabbed 2 more goals bringing the score to 3-1. Jones picked up her second goal following a UC timeout. The goal by Jones brought the score to 3-2.
- The Warriors capitalized on the man-up advantage scoring at 19:25 bringing the score to 4-2. Indiana Tech scored three more times before the clock reached 10:00. UC struck back with 7:23 to go in the first half as Jones scored her third goal of the day bringing the score to 7-3 Warriors. Megan Sheesley put away her first goal with less than 5 to go (7-4). Two minutes later Payton Harris found the back of the net to bring the Golden Eagles within 2 scores of the Warriors (7-5). Indiana Tech scored the final goal of the half with 38 seconds remaining. The teams went to the half with the Warriors leading Charleston 8-5.
- Following the break Indiana Tech went on a 4-0 run before the time reached 20 minutes, giving them a 12-5 advantage over the Golden Eagles. UC's Emma Renda found the goal at 16:17 bringing the score to 12-6. The Warriors followed with 4 unanswered goals before Samantha Jones scored UC's final goal of the day. Indiana Tech's Jennifer Banks scored one final time for the Warriors bringing the score to 17-7.
