th straight win after completing a 3-game series sweep of Salem International taking both games of Friday's doubleheader at Appalachian Power Park

Game 2
-Charleston took advantage of 3 Tiger first inning errors to score the game's first run despite not getting a hit in the inning, taking a 1-0 lead after an inning.
-The Golden Eagles added a run in the 2
nd on a Will Lucas RBI triple to left center that scored Jack Brunetti from second after singling to start the inning.
-Salem evened the game at 2-2 in the 3
rd, finally getting to Golden Eagle starter Adam Jafine but Charleston reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the inning plating 2 to go ahead of Salem 4-2.
-The Tigers trimmed the lead to 4-3 scoring a run off UC reliever Robert Fultineer in the 5
th inning but a Brunetti solo HR to right center put Charleston back ahead by 2, 5-3, heading to the final two innings.
-Fultineer shut the door on a Tiger comeback, keeping Salem off the scoreboard in the 6
th and 7
th to earn the save and give Jafine his 2
nd win of the season.
Game 3
-UC grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the 1
st and it was all Charleston starter Jonathan Carr needed as he worked 6 scoreless innings in the win, striking out a career-high 9 Tigers.
-The Golden Eagles got some help from the Tigers in a big 5
th inning as Salem committed 5 errors in the frame that aided in UC's 7-run inning that led to Charleston 9-0 shutout victory.
UP NEXT
-The Golden Eagles return to Appalachian Power Park on Wednesday for a midweek doubleheader, squaring off with Lake Erie College. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m.
