CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston Volleyball (9-10) downs Lincoln Memorial (8-14) in three straight sets.

GOLDEN EAGLE INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
-Ryan Santos led the Golden Eagles with 15 kills.
-Anthony led Charleston with 7 blocks, 31 assists, and 13 digs.
LMU INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
-Evan Cory led LMU with 12 kills and 2 aces.
-Ryan Iskandar led the Railsplitters in assists (29) and digs (7).
HOW IT HAPPENED
-LMU jumped ahead 2-0 during the start of the first set and the score saw 15 ties with neither team leading by more than a point. After Byron Hurd tied it up for the Golden Eagles 23-23 UC was able to close out set number one 25-23.
-For the first half of the second set the teams stayed neck-and-neck, but after a kill by Donovan Wilmott to tied the set up 11 all Charleston took the lead and held on for the rest of the set. LMU tied the game up again 20-20 and the teams would fight through six more ties before Charleston ended the second set with a Kill by Brandon Greenway (28-26).
-Charleston jumped ahead in the first set, but LMU took the lead ad held on until a kill from Byron Hurd tied it all up (18-18). The Golden Eagles solidified their lead two points later after a kill by Conner Brandland. Charleston held on until LMU tied it up at 25-all. The next two points belonged to UC as the Golden Eagles took the final set 27-25, and the match 3-0.
