HILTON HEAD, S.C. – After dropping their opening match of the PTR Spring Break TennisFest the Golden Eagles rebounded with a pair of wins Wednesday and Thursday, defeating Augustana College and regional opponent Kutztown University.
 
Charleston won both matches with relative ease, beating Augustana 7-2 before thumping the Golden Bears 8-1 to run their season record to 5 wins and 3 losses.
 
The doubles pairings of Alec Foote/Dom Centofanti and Alek Gracin/Ben Lakeman were victorious on both afternoons to set the pace for each match.  Charleston won 5 of 6 singles matches against Augustana on Wednesday before sweeping all 6 singles courts against Kutztown on Thursday.
 
Charleston (5-3) wraps up its trip in South Carolina tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. match versus Goucher College.
