CHARLESTON, W.Va. – University of Charleston picked up their first win of the 2017 season Saturday afternoon at Erskine College, defeating the Fighting Fleet 17-3.

How it Happened
-Charleston dominated play from the get go, outscoring the Fighting Fleet 8-0 in the first 30 minutes of action. All 4. of A. Jones's goals came in the first half.
-Erskine was first to score to open the second half and actually matched UC in goals in the first 10 minutes of the half, with the score showing 10-2.
-The Golden Eagles, leading 12-3, with 11:34 left on the clock outscored the Fleet 5-0 highlighted by a pair of Samantha Jones goals to defeat Erskine 17-3 for the team's first win.
