Game 2
-Charleston got on the board quickly as Nick Wilson's hot bat continued to produce hits and RBI's, driving in Brice Arrington to open the 1st and give UC a 1-0 lead.
-UPJ got the run back in the 2nd but UC's Wilson struck again in the 3rd for the Golden Eagles, this time a double to right center that scored Lee Carneal.
-The Golden Eagle lead was short lived as the Mountain Cats got runs in each of the 4th, 5th and 6th innings to take a 6-2 lead entering Charleston's final two at-bats.
-Again, Charleston showed their grit to even the game at 6-6 in the bottom of the 6th highlighted by Austin Hathaway's double to right center that scored 2 Golden Eagles.
-Austin Henrich entered to pitch for Adam Jafine and shut down the Mountain Cat bats providing UC with another solid effort from their bullpen.
-After a scoreless 7th that sent the game into extra frames and tied at 6-6 entering the bottom of the 8th, Charleston got the break they were looking for when Gianfranco Morello followed a Carneal triple with a deep fly to left field that looked like a routine flyout only to see the UPJ left fielder stumble and drop the final out of the inning giving UC the walk-off 7-6 victory.

Game 3
-Both teams each got a run in the 1st as it looked like a replay of the two previous track meets, but it would be Charleston's Jonathan Carr who would settle in and pitch Charleston to a series sweep.
-The Golden Eagles came up with 3 runs in the 2nd on RBI's by Jack Brunetti, Hathaway and Carneal to give Carr all the support he needed in 6 innings of work, pitching UC to a 5-2 lead to the 7th.
-UC closer Brandon Harris secured the Charleston win by striking out a pair in a scoreless 7th to pick up his first save of the season.
