CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- UC Men's Golf couldn't maintain their 1-stroke lead over West Liberty from Monday, turning in a final round 310 and finishing 2nd at the MEC Spring Classic at Edgewood County Club.
The Hilltoppers posted a 295 on Tuesday to earn the 14-stroke victory over the field.  Charleston's Viktor Pustwo came into the final round with a four stroke lead, but struggled on the course today to post a 78 and finish tied for 2nd individually, four strokes behind medalist Matthew Iceton from West Liberty University.  Lewis Fenn also cracked the top-10 with a 10th place finish, shooting +10 for the tournament and a round of 75 on Tuesday.
Charleston gets back on the course on Sunday at the Cecil Spadafora Invitational in Indiana, Pa. The two-day tournament, hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania, will be played at Indiana Country Club.Â
