nd and 3
rd and getting back-to-back outs without letting Wheeling rally for a big inning.
-Carneal provided the Game 1 heroics for UC, smashing a solo HR to left field to start the 6

-The Cardinals again showed some fight, tying the game at 2-2 in the 6

-UC's Brandon Harris entered to shut down the Cardinals and give UC a chance at the walk-off win in the 9

-Charleston loaded the bases after a Hathaway single to right, then Jeff Somuk reached on a fielder's choice, followed by an intentional walk to Taylor Itnyre that set the stage for Morello. The Cardinals got the play they were looking for to get out of the inning with Morello chopping a ball to first base, but a poor throw by the Cardinals bounced by the catcher allowing Hathaway to score and give the Golden Eagles a 3-2 victory.
