CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- University of Charleston Head Baseball Coach Andrew Wright announced changes to the opening weekend series with Wingate University on Wednesday morning.

Previously scheduled to play a doubleheader with the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon in Wingate, followed by a single nine-inning game on Sunday, the Golden Eagles will now play single-nine inning games on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.  The Bulldogs enter the series a perfect 7-0, picking up three victories over fellow MEC opponent Concord University.

First pitch with the Bulldogs is set for 6:00 p.m. Friday evening at Wingate's Ron Christopher Stadium in Wingate, N.C.
