CHARLESTON, W.Va. – UC men's tennis won their first match of the season with a 9-0 win over Bluefield College at the Charleston Family YMCA on Saturday evening, chalking up a 1-0 record on the 2018 season.
UC held a 3-0 advantage after doubles, taking No. 1 & 2 doubles courts by scores 8-0 and 8-1. The Golden Eagles dominated the singles courts winning 6 of the 6 matches on their way to the 9-0 match victory.
Charleston improves their overall record to 1-0, and face the Salem University Tigers Friday, February 23 at the Charleston Family YMCA at 6:00 p.m.
